Job Purpose:
12 month contract opportunity available within the PPM team of an International Life Assurance organisation to provide Finance change and support to the wider change portfolio. The role holder will be responsible for working closely with finance teams to review and where appropriate re-engineer processes using LEAN methodologies.

Key Responsibilities:
Work closely with colleagues to develop well controlled processes to deliver change across Finance in line with group, audit and professional standards.

Develop and support End User Computing solutions across Finance.

Job Purpose:
Business Analyst required to join an Investment and Fund Management group based in Douglas. This is a newly created position that will involve working closely with front office teams, IT programmers and system suppliers with the objective of optimising efficiency in reporting and client servicing.

Job Purpose:
Application Analyst required to join a financial services organisation based in Douglas. The role holder will administer support and develop Viewpoint, together with designing or update reports as required by clients.

Key Responsibilities:
Work collaboratively with the existing applications team members in monitoring, maintaining and supporting the Viewpoint Application, front end, business facing in Citrix, as well as the SQL server.
Assist with the data exports related to FATCA/CRS, in the various offices, within deadlines, as necessary using Viewpoint and Fusion TDE.

Experience with systems design and development from business requirements analysis through to day-to-day management.

Job Purpose:
Experienced Test Analyst required to join a leading International Life Assurance on a long term contract basis. The role holder will be responsible for working with the Developers and Business Analysts to plan, document and execute robust testing in order to enhance the delivery of online and back office applications to meet strategic business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
Creation of test scenarios, cases and plans for projects and individual BAU support JIRAs.
Liaise with Project Team including Project Manager, Developer and Business Analyst.
Coordinate and review test documentation.
Take on the role of Test Lead for projects.
Plan and carry out testing appropriate to the task with minimal supervision/guidance.
Input and implementation to test framework and processes.
Reporting of estimates, test metrics and progress updates to the Test Manager.
Share test and system knowledge with others.

Experienced Project Support Officer required to join an International Life Assurance organisation for approximately 6 - 12 months to work with and support a number of projects currently being undertaken by the Hansard Group. This role will include providing project management support to the leads of the various projects and work stream.

Job Purpose:
Project Coordinator required to join a global financial services organisation to support the Project or Programme through co-ordination and administration of key activities including planning, budget management, application of controls, reporting and configuration management.

Key Responsibilities:
Support in the creation of, and help maintain, detailed Project Plans under the guidance of the Project or Programme Manager.

Job Purpose:
Database Analyst required within a life organisation to put in place and aid in the enforcement of a strategy for developing and maintaining UWS databases and ensure the acceptable performance, stability, availability and governance of those databases.

Key Responsibilities:
Database performance - Play an influential role in monitoring and tuning of UWS databases to ensure performant and operational databases. Report and advise on performance bottlenecks and suggested solutions.
Operations and Support - Resolve systems issues related to database malfunction. Document issues and analyse usage in order to put in place preventative measures to reduce downtime.
Methods and Procedures - Provide significant input into the development, improvement and implementation of effective methods and procedures relating to: Database design, maintenance and use, Data storage and backup strategy, Database recovery policy and DR procedures, Database access and user privileges and Data protection, encryption and disposal.
Governance - Periodically review UWS procedures related to the storage, access, disposal and use of data.

Skills & Experience:
At least 2 years' experience in a database administration role.
General knowledge of all aspects of information technology infrastructure hardware and software and a good understanding of current developments in information systems.
Experience with Oracle and SQL server would be advantageous.
Knowledge of data warehouse solutions and development.
