Job Purpose:

Senior Tax Administrator required to provide support to the Tax Manager for a payroll group based in Douglas.



Key Responsibilities:

Reviewing of UK personal tax returns.



Providing training and technical support to the tax assistants where required.



Preparation of UK personal tax returns.



Arranging tax payments for the Contractors to HMRC in January and July and maintaining the payment records.



Reporting weekly/monthly team progress to the manager including assisting with team targets.



General administration and correspondence with clients, accountants and HMRC.



Skills and Experience:

ATT qualified or working towards the qualification or qualified by experience in personal tax.



Previous tax experience required in a similar role.



Computer literacy essential, high level of Microsoft Office (word, excel and outlook).



Ability to work under pressure and to strict regulatory deadlines.



High level of accuracy and attention to detail is essential.

Job Purpose:
Assisting with the production of accounts, VAT and tax returns for a diverse and complex portfolio of clients.

Key Responsibilities:
Supporting the Client Accounting team with Bookkeeping and reconciliations for a portfolio of client entities.
Preparation of accounts to Trial Balance stage, with training provided in order to prepare financial statements in future.
Preparation of Tax and VAT returns.

Skills and Experience:
Experienced in Bookkeeping and Accounting work, ideally within a Client Accounting environment (but this is not essential).

Key Responsibilities:
Assist with the preparation of financial statements to help clear historical back-logs.

Job Purpose:
Assistant Auditor required to join the internal audit department of a leading Life Assurance Organisation.

Key Responsibilities:
Executing assignments in accordance with professional auditing, and departmental standards.
Carrying out comprehensive research.
Evaluating the effectiveness of processes, controls, management and governance systems.
Making recommendations for improved control, efficiency and effectiveness of systems where appropriate.

Skills & Experience:

Job Purpose:
Trainee accountant studying towards the Certified Accounting Technician (CAT), required to join general accountancy practice and corporate service provider.

Key Responsibilities:
Bookkeeping including inputting client records.

Job Purpose:
Financial Reporting Accountant required to join an International Life Assurance Organisation on an in initial 12 month contract. The role holder will responsible for the review and delivery of improvements to key processes within the finance function. As well as the investigation and resolution of complex issues within the financial statements and supporting data.

Key Responsibilities:
Provide analytics and detailed commentary on financial's.
Preparation of annual statutory financial statements, and produce data to feed annual regulatory returns, for each entity to deadlines required in each jurisdiction.
Manage audit of annual statutory financial statements.
Prepare quarterly board packs and attend meetings to provide support for content where necessary.
Produce ad-hoc analysis for stakeholders at all levels of the business.
Implement new reporting requirements arising from internal or external factors.
Enhance existing level of analytics to provide a better insight into the financial's of each entity.

Skills & Experience:
Educated to degree level.
Qualified Accountant or by experience.
Experience in working with the Financial Services sector.
Developed depth and breadth of expertise within a similar reporting environment.

High level of competence in MS Excel is essential.
Knowledge and understanding of standards and regulations.

Group Financial Controller required to join a listed global group to assist the CFO in the day to day running and strategic development of the Finance team.

Key Responsibilities:
Management and oversight of the timely delivery of all regulatory, statutory and Stock Exchange financial reporting requirements.
