IT Desktop Support, Permanent Job, Isle of Man
An experienced IT Desktop Support Engineer is sought by an international Wealth Management company in a permanent capacity, to act as the central point of contact for all IT related incidents and service requests.
Provide 1st line support to all company staff over telephone, email, and face-to-face.
Support & maintain the VMWare virtual desktop infrastructure and mobile devices.
Research, test, and implement new company software.
Perform regular systems checks; monitoring and reporting on desktop devices.
Skills & Experience:
2 years previous experience in a similar 1st line support role, ideally within Financial Services.
Excellent customer service in face-to-face, telephone, or email interactions with both staff and external clients.
Working knowledge of Windows 10 and MS Office products including O365 and Exchange.
Previous experience using IT service desk support systems, and an ability to learn new systems and other tech products.
Hours & Benefits:
Douglas -based; Very competitive salary in line with relevant skills and experience, along with a full company benefits package; full time business hours based on a 37.5 hour working week with some flexibility on start time.
