Operations Manager required to join a Wealth Management Business to provide operational oversight and guidance for the group. This involves management of the operations team to ensure that all clients and policies are serviced effectively, efficiently and compliantly.
Managerial responsibility for the efficient working of the Operations Department, which shall include overseeing and managing all aspects of the day to day operations of and ensure operations are in sync with Group strategy.
Continuously improve processes and procedures to improve effectiveness and efficiency in line with industry/legislative developments and best practice.
Ensure maximum efficiency from new IT systems.
Support improved management reporting, information flow and organisational planning.
Contribute to short and long term organisational planning and strategy as a member of the management team, including an initiative geared toward operational excellence.
To ensure that senior management within the Group are aware of all new operational developments in order to promote an understanding of the issues and the likely impact on existing and future business.
Increase the effectiveness of Support Services (IT, Finance and HR) through improvement to each function as well as co-ordination and communication between support and business functions.
Responsible for leading the Client Services team in the delivery of a timely, professional and high quality services to all clients.
Skills & Experience:
Minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role within financial services.
Good understanding of Isle of Man regulatory and compliance legislation.
Operational experience, preferably in the funds/investment industry.
Excellent communication skills.
Excellent people management skills.
Ability to work under pressure.
