This is a dual role being a project and support role that centres on delivering and maintaining successful information systems and reporting processes which will deliver significant benefits to the organisation.
Maintain, administer and develop (through upgrades or replacement) the financial systems, processes and reporting outputs.
Manage and monitor project plans to ensure successful completion of the plan activities and delivery of finance projects on schedule.
Provide support for change management processes.
Provide support for ad-hoc finance requests and tasks.
Working closely with IT and external suppliers, ensure systems are properly maintained and fit for purpose.
Skills and Experience:
Previous proven knowledge of systems administration, maintenance and upgrades.
Operational management experience.
Demonstrate the ability to control delivery of the project in terms of timing and cost/profitability.
Ability to anticipate and respond to changes in the business and effect satisfactory solutions.
Commercial negotiation skills.
Ability to develop individuals and promote teamwork.
Strong functional finance systems skill set and a proficiency in providing proactive solutions to requests, requirements and analysis from the finance user community.
Knowledge of Sun and Vision Suite would be beneficial.
