Software Tester (Contract)

Job Purpose:
Software Testing Supervisor required to join a systems development team in a leading financial organisation for up to a 6 month contract. The role is to ensure that the risks associated with IT systems, configurations and services, together with any interfaces are adequately understood and monitored, and any problems solved quickly and effectively.

Key Responsibilities:
Design, management, execution and reporting of tests using appropriate testing tools and techniques.
Engineering, using and maintaining testware to measure and improve the software being tested.
Design, interpret and record test cases in accordance with project test plans.
Assist in requirement specification and solutions design to ensure that requirements are clear and satisfied.

Skills & Experience:
Minimum of 1 years experience in a software testing role.
Experience of defining requirements and communicating those requirements to others.
Educated to a bachelor degree level or holds a relevant professional qualification or extensive relevant experience in career history.
In depth knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications.
