Treasury Lead Manager, Permanent Job, Isle of Man

Job Purpose:
Treasury/Cash Management professional required to take up a permanent role as Head of the IOM branch for a global wealth management business. This is an exciting hybrid role leading the IOM treasury management centre and investment banking balance sheet.

Key Responsibilities:
Provide strategic oversight and leadership to develop the business in line with Group Strategy, ensuring compliance with Corporate Governance, Risk Management, Isle of Man and South African legislative and regulatory requirements.
Manage the businesses, taking full accountability and ownership of current and potential issues.
To build significant business relationships within the Group Structure to ensure the entrenchment of the Branch and capabilities within the wider Group.
Ensure insight and understanding to the financial performance of the businesses, in the context of the markets and regulatory regime in which they operate.
Responsibility and ownership of the completion and accuracy of all financial information compiled for both internal and external recipients, including Regulatory submissions, Financial Statements and Management reports.
Ensure all business risks are identified, quantified and managed within acceptable and Board approved limits, including credit risk, liquidity risk, market risk, regulatory risk and operational risk.
To ensure the on-going effectiveness of the Operations area, in its supporting role of the businesses.
Manage the resources of the Branch to ensure all required Infrastructure is in place to provide a stable platform for running and growing the business in line with strategy.
To provide daily leadership and management of staff.

Skills & Experience:
Extensive experience in treasury/global cash management within international banking.
Valid and valuable experience of Corporate Governance, Risk Management, including IOM and South African legislative and regulatory requirements.
Proven track record holding a Key Person role.
Excellent leadership and team management experience.
Used to working alongside senior stakeholders both internally and externally up to board level.
