Job Purpose:
Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/ similar) with a number of years PQE experience in work requiring the preparation of accounts to IFRS, is sought for a new role within an International Financial Services Group. The role requires all accounting, tax and reporting responsibilities for a complex client entity including the effective management of the external audit. Previous Audit and Client Accounting experience would be advantageous. Key Responsibilities:
All day -to-day accounting and tax compliance responsibilities including management of risk within the accounting function, ensuring the review of processes and that adequate controls are in place.
Managing the external audits of various entities to completion, including proactive liaison with external auditors and other intermediaries.
Preparation of interim reports including ad hoc financial analysis requests, management accounts and other financial statements in accordance with acceptable standards and within agreed service level agreements.
Providing guidance on decision making functions for the client entities within the group's structure, including work on types of investments held.

Skills & Experience:
ACA/ ACCA qualified, with extensive Accounts preparation experience in work to date and strong IFRS knowledge; ideally to have included work within Audit and Client accounting.
Proactive and professional approach, with strong communication skills and excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
Experienced in developing positive working relationships with internal stakeholders across the International business, as well as intermediaries, external auditors and other external stakeholders.

Trainee Accountant required to join a busy independent accountancy practice and trust and corporate service provider. Graduate applicants are sought to work as part of a team, whilst also completing their ACCA/ACA studies. A newly or recently ACCA/ ACA qualified accountant is sought to join a busy general accountancy practice and corporate service provider, as Assistant Manager. It is considered most relevant to have had previous experience within a general accountancy practice or fiduciary services background, rather than a Big 4 Audit background. The role requires working as part of a small team, reporting in to a Manager/ Partner and managing a portfolio of clients, including engagements from different business divisions.

Key Responsibilities:
Managing a portfolio of clients with varying requirements across the accountancy practice and corporate services divisions, this is likely to include:
Preparation of accounts and schedules and the preparation of financial statements.
Preparation and checking of taxation and VAT returns and assessments.
Administration of companies and liaison with clients and intermediaries.

Job Purpose:
Assistant VAT Consultant required to join an established, international professional services provider to assist in VAT solutions covering transactional and VAT planning advice.

Key Responsibilities:
Provide support to the servicing teams and clients regarding their day-to-day transactions, helping them to maximise clients' VAT position while meeting their compliance obligations in the everyday course of their business transactions.
