Job Purpose:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Fundraising, Marketing & Communications Director to join a registered charity on a permanent basis. The role holder will effectively lead, inspire, develop and manage fundraising, marketing & communications to deliver strategy and aspirations

Key Responsibilities:
Lead development of the fundraising, marketing and communications strategy including 3 year forecasting and accurate annual budgets
Provide thought leadership and innovative ideas for launching new, whilst enhancing existing, digital activities to deliver the best supporter experience and engagement to maximise income through digital channels
Work with the director of finance to prepare and present quarterly reports to the fundraising and marketing committee, and to the board of governors to keep them appraised of progress and risks
Lead the team to develop and enhance the power of the brand and reputation through a range of integrated digital and traditional communication channels
Build and manage the continuing development of the team by providing coaching, carrying out performance reviews and implementing development plans
Attend networking events and conferences

Skills & Experience:
Educated to degree level or equivalent CPD in a fundraising, marketing, or business related subject
Member of institute of fundraising, CIM or willingness to enrol
Proven experience within an income generating, business development of professional fundraising role operating at a senior level
Experience of leading and managing a diverse team

Hours & Benefits:
Full time, core business hours - salary in line with experience.
