Job Purpose:
Tender Manager required on a permanent basis to join one of the world's leading insurers, you will be responsible for the delivery of effective and timely tender responses to win and retain new group risk and group savings business. In addition to managing a team you will be responsible for your own pipeline of tenders and provide technical guidance to the business.

Key Responsibilities:
Manage a team of 2 tender managers; handling multiple often conflicting priorities personally and across the team as well as mentoring & developing the team.
Own and handle tender responses finding suitable solutions to requested or required exceptions to standard processes, product features, terms and conditions, fees/charges funds (savings only) and other variables
Build credibility as a product provider who is flexible and pragmatic in their approach to meeting customer requirements.
Point of reference on technical issues and non-standard cases to the wider business.
Works across the business to build relationships that reassure the active sharing of standard methodology developing consistency to tenders.
Handle and influence a wider range of stakeholders.
Protect and improve reputation by ensuring you deliver on promises made and say “no” when developments are not feasible.
Review and maintain excellent data quality within the MI databases by working and training users across the business, providing UAT when required and being a point of contact for questions.
Produce monthly MI reports for senior management ensuring the reports are accurate and a true reflection of the business.
Accountable for own personal development and ongoing professional development.

Skills & Experience:
5 years+ relevant work experience (for example; leading customer relationships, supporting proposition development, corporate client on boarding).
Experience of working constructively in a matrix management organisation and with people in different locations with the ability to handle remote teams, to motivate others to deliver and handle multi-cultural sensitivities.
A good understanding of international group risk and/or savings.
Technical understanding of the operations within a Life Insurance company (preferably with a focus on group risk propositions).
Able to communicate complex technical matters at a level appropriate to the recipient, exercising tact & subtlety where necessary.
Resilient to work effectively under pressure and to tight deadlines.

Job Purpose:
A Senior Administrator is required to join the Agency & Commissions team of an international Life Assurance organisation, in a permanent capacity. Working within the Customer Services department, the role holder will undertake regular reviews of existing intermediary relationships as their indemnity commission liability approaches agreed trigger levels.

Key Responsibilities:
Monitoring any debt positions.
Preparation of reports for the weekly Debt & Indemnity Commission meeting.
Processing new terms of business applications for intermediaries.
Regular communication by telephone and email with brokers and company sales teams.
Carry out agency amendments and process payments.

Skills & Experience:
Previous financial services experience is essential, ideally within the Life Assurance industry.
A clear understanding of Insurance (AML) regulations and knowledge of CDD requirements in line with the IOM Financial Services Authority.
Experience of processing UK and international payments.
An understanding of corporate legal structures would be beneficial.
Ability to deliver against deadlines and excellent organisational skills.

Job Purpose:
Payroll Administrator required for a Douglas based Payroll Organisation to produce, in conjunction with other relevant payroll bureau offices, the International monthly payrolls.

Key Responsibilities:
Facilitate the International Payrolls in conjunction with other relevant payroll bureau.
Ensure that the correct contributions of Social Security , Tax, Retirement Fund, Pension, Severance Indemnity and unemployment Funds are paid to the appropriate bodies.
Prepare/assist preparation of the year end returns with the relevant jurisdictional payroll bureau.
Perform monthly payroll routine including specifically prepare and send monthly payslips and arrange payments.

Skills & Experience:
A minimum of 2 years payroll experience.
Excellent organisation and communication skills.
