Telecoms Technology Professional required to join a telecommunications network on a permanent basis as their Professional Services Associate Consultant. This role is to be based in either Guernsey or Jersey.
Ensure the successful delivery of customer premises communication and application solution requirements in line with group sales, design, transition targets and standards
Document and package delivered solutions adhering to appropriate operational and maintenance procedures
Provision of second and third level support for UC, network, firewall and security services to agreed OLA’s
Work closely with consultants, observe and assist in the service strategy, design, planning and execution of advanced customer facing communication solution projects
Manage the essential support database and resign process with service management
Act in a leadership capacity to support the head of Engineering and Team Supervisors
Plan, evaluate and develop a sound understanding of new technologies and a perception of the practical applications/commercial implications of new and emerging technology in relation to IP/Core and associated services/applications
Understand and comply with the licence and other regulatory rules applying to the position
Understand and comply with the data protection law as it relates to the position
Undertake appropriate security awareness training covering information security, data protection, financial crime and payment card data, comply with their information security responsibilities
Skills & Experience:
A sound and solid understanding of telecommunications and application delivery methodologies is considered essential
Mitel Certified Professional – Communications (MiVoice Business)
Mitel Certified Professional – Unified Communications and Collaboration
Mitel Certified Associate – Cloud
Extensive product knowledge covering Mitel, VM, Application and other industry standard solutions including SIP trunking deployment with a working knowledge of networking
The ideal candidate would have deployed multi-site cluster MiVB solutions both physical and virtual with MiCollab applications.
In-depth demonstrable experience of the following platforms/ applications:
- Mitel Mivoice Business – Physical, virtual and cloud
- Mitel Border Gateway
- Mitel IVR
- Ribbon/ Sonus SBC1000/2000 (Other SBC’s considered)
- Redbox Call Recording
Experience working with Microsoft Teams, MiVoice Office 250, MiVoice Office Application Suite, CCNA/ CCNP, VMware Associate or AWS/ Azure qualifications would be advantageous
Additional knowledge covering Cisco, Meraki, VM, Application and other industry standard solutions.
