Job Purpose:
An established Financial Services Group, based in central Douglas, are seeking a Full Stack Developer on a permanent basis. They are currently developing a cloud-based Digital Banking & Investment platform and this will be an opportunity to work on the development of a brand new, state of the art system

Key Responsibilities:
Design, development and test both applications and core service API's around the current investment business and the new banking platform
Collaborative architectural design and analysis of solutions
Management and maintenance of current company software systems
Unit testing design and development, code review/sign off, automation testing tools and customer journey improvement

Skills & Experience:

Job Purpose:  
Lead tester required on a 1 year contract basis for a project within a life assurance organisation to plan and deliver testing services for both projects and BAU.

Key Responsibilities:
Takes test lead role for project/BAU deliveries, planning test activities, setting clear expectations & allocating work to the assigned testers and monitoring progress
Acts as quality advocate for projects / BAU work, helping to ensure that adequate time is allowed for testing and an acceptable level of coverage is achieved
Undertakes design, management, execution and reporting of tests, using appropriate testing tools and techniques and conforming to agreed process standards and industry specific regulations
Performs static testing of project documentation to improve quality of requirements and design
Provides test estimates (both ROM and firm) to help ensure work is sized accurately and planning is on the correct basis
Provides regular progress reports (verbal and/or written as needed) to QA Manager / PM / senior managers
Pro-actively identifies and escalate issues that impact testing, provides suggestions for mitigation / course of action & takes ownership of relevant mitigating actions

Skills & Experience:
Previous experience in a similar software testing role, leading testing & managing resources
In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications (i.e. Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint).
Analytical Thinking: Acquiring a proper understanding of a problem or situation by breaking it down systematically into its component parts.
ISTQB Foundation Certificate in Software Testing would be an advantage

Telecoms Technology Professional required to join a telecommunications network on a permanent basis as their Professional Services Associate Consultant. This role is to be based in either Guernsey or Jersey. 

Key Responsibilities:
Ensure the successful delivery of customer premises communication and application solution requirements in line with group sales, design, transition targets and standards
Document and package delivered solutions adhering to appropriate operational and maintenance procedures
Provision of second and third level support for UC, network, firewall and security services to agreed OLA’s
Work closely with consultants, observe and assist in the service strategy, design, planning and execution of advanced customer facing communication solution projects
Manage the essential support database and resign process with service management
Act in a leadership capacity to support the head of Engineering and Team Supervisors
Plan, evaluate and develop a sound understanding of new technologies and a perception of the practical applications/commercial implications of new and emerging technology in relation to IP/Core and associated services/applications
Understand and comply with the licence and other regulatory rules applying to the position

The ideal candidate would have deployed multi-site cluster MiVB solutions both physical and virtual with MiCollab applications.
In-depth demonstrable experience of the following platforms/ applications:
- Mitel Mivoice Business – Physical, virtual and cloud
- MiCollab
- Mitel Border Gateway
- Mitel IVR
- Ribbon/ Sonus SBC1000/2000 (Other SBC’s considered)
- Redbox Call Recording
Experience working with Microsoft Teams, MiVoice Office 250, MiVoice Office Application Suite, CCNA/ CCNP, VMware Associate or AWS/ Azure qualifications would be advantageous

Job Purpose:
Database Analyst required within a life organisation to put in place and aid in the enforcement of a strategy for developing and maintaining UWS databases and ensure the acceptable performance, stability, availability and governance of those databases.

Key Responsibilities:
Database performance - Play an influential role in monitoring and tuning of UWS databases to ensure performant and operational databases. Report and advise on performance bottlenecks and suggested solutions
Operations and Support - Resolve systems issues related to database malfunction Document issues and analyse usage in order to put in place preventative measures to reduce downtime
Methods and Procedures - Provide significant input into the development, improvement and implementation of effective methods and procedures relating to: Database design, maintenance and use, Data storage and backup strategy, Database recovery policy and DR procedures, Database access and user privileges and Data protection, encryption and disposal
Governance - Periodically review UWS procedures related to the storage, access, disposal and use of data

Skills & Experience:
Experience in a database administration role is beneficial
General knowledge of all aspects of information technology infrastructure hardware and software and a good understanding of current developments in information systems
Experience with Oracle and SQL server would be advantageous
Knowledge of data warehouse solutions and development
