Business Development Manager, Permanent Job, Isle Of Man

Job Purpose:
Experienced Business Development Manager is sought by a small but well established, independent corporate and trust services provider. Reporting to the Managing Director, the role primarily requires the planning and development of new business opportunities, as well as the ongoing nurturing of existing business relationships, to achieve agreed goals within identified markets.

Key Responsibilities:
Plan and conduct sales and marketing activities, to promote and pursue business opportunities with existing and potential new customers and intermediaries
Understand the market, produce service and product literature and technical guides and conduct competitor analysis, to help inform the Board and provide input to develop the business strategy and service proposition
Develop ideas and identify opportunities to promote the company brand, whilst ensuring compliance with technical, regulatory, sales quality and service standards
Develop, maintain and control information and data relating to all sales and business development activities and results, providing regular and structured reporting to the Board

Skills & Experience:
A professional background in Legal, Company Secretarial, Accountancy or Tax is preferred, with a thorough understanding of Company, Trust and Foundation structures
A proven track record in business development within corporate and trust services
Ability to develop smooth and constructive relationships with colleagues, as well as excellent face-to-face and telephone communication skills with outside agencies, organisations and individuals
Reliable, credible, results-oriented and self-driven, with the ability to demonstrate a clear focus on high quality service and professional standards
