Business Development Manager, Permanent Job, Isle of Man

Job Purpose:
Experienced Business Development Manager required on a permanent basis. The role holder will liaise with UK based contractors, recruitment consultants and directors selling a range of payroll services.

Key Responsibilities:
Self-generate new opportunities, whilst building on existing relationships to supply continuing referrals
Maintain a thorough understanding of products, and sell benefits confidently
Achieving set targets by self-generating leads and sales
Cold canvassing business in an undeveloped territories and sectors
Attending face-to-face meetings with potential clients and recruitment agencies
Providing information of our service offering in a legal and compliant manner
Support service teams to ensure any matters are resolved quickly and efficiently
Stay current with our services and UK legislation to ensure we are tailoring to client need

Skills & Experience:
Demonstrated track record of dealing with our typical client base and whilst doing so continuously exceeding targets
Proven experience and success within direct sales and business development
Experience of selling within the payroll, agency and contractor industry
Self-starter with current UK Agency relationship and service management experience
Umbrella product and UK tax knowledge is preferable
The ideal candidate will have a clear hunger for success, uphold excellent communication skills and good telephone etiquette, be very self-motivated and customer focused.

Hours & Benefits:
Salary dependent on experience, uncapped monthly trail commissions. Relocation package will be considered for strong UK based candidates who wish to move to the IOM.
