Finance Assistant, Contract, Isle of Man

Job Purpose:
Finance Assistant required on a 3 month contract to join a leading investment company based in central Douglas. The successful applicant will have experience of banking systems and a flexible approach to their work

Key Responsibilities:
Process Payments (Cheque, telegraphic transfer & other electronic payments)
Monthly bank reconciliations
Monitor bank accounts and update cashbook spreadsheets
Produce weekly cash balance reports
Coordinate and maintain placement of fixed deposits at various banks, in line with client requirements

Skills & Experience:
Experience of banking systems is essential
Some knowledge of double entry book-keeping
Experience of SUN general ledger system would be advantageous
Experience of Excel and Word

Hours & Benefits:
Full time, core business hours
