Senior Compliance Administrator, Permanent Job, Isle of Man

A leading Life Assurance organisation based in central Douglas are recruiting for an experienced Senior Compliance Assistant on a permanent basis.  The purpose of this role is to provide administrative support and assistance to the compliance team for day to day administrative tasks and duties, and to deal effectively with customer complaints (including complaints received by the ombudsman).

The Role…

  • Bring customer complaints to a swift, efficient and cost-effective conclusion ensuring a fair customer outcome whilst following company and regulatory policies and procedures
  • Undertake ongoing monitoring of complaints and root cause analysis, and the production of monthly compliance monitoring statistics
  • Assist in the undertaking of internal reviews or audits to ensure that compliance procedures are followed
  • Carry out background due diligence checks for CDD/EDD purposes
  • Provide assistance to internal or external auditors in compliance reviews

About You…

  • Previous experience in a similar role is essential
  • Experience in customer service and complaints management
  • Good understanding of fund and investment management, insurance and pension legislation;
  • Good understanding of investment services and their practical applications
