Insurance Technician, Permanent Job, Isle of Man

Job Purpose:
Captive Insurance Technician required to assist the Senior Account Managers and Accountants with the management and administration of their clients.

Key Responsibilities:
Assisting, under guidance, in the provision of company secretarial services, including attendance at Board meetings, taking of Minutes at these meetings, and presentation of reports, where required
Preparation of reports for Board meetings, and proof reading of these for accuracy
Provide support, review/updating of claims bordereaux/reports, and arranging for claims payments on behalf of clients
Preparation and issue of policy documentation, to include policies, endorsements, debit notes and associated certificates
Maintain all filing systems, including archiving

Skills & Experience:
Insurance background preferable
Strong communicator both internally and externally and confident in working with external (?£?blue chip?£?) clients
Demonstrates commitment to the role, flexibility and a willingness to work outside the scope of immediate responsibilities
Numerate, strong literacy skills, well organised, strong inter-personal and team-working skills
Highly organised with strong administrative qualities and high standards of accuracy
Excellent Excel and Word skills

Hours & Benefits
Working hours Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm, working hours will be flexible to accommodate client needs
