Internal Audit Specialist, Permanent Job, Isle Of Man

Job Purpose:
An Internal Audit Specialist with good understanding of the offshore life industry, is sought to join the Internal Audit team of an International Life Assurance Company. The role involves contributing to the effective delivery of audits across the Group's Internal Audit plan.

Key Responsibilities:
Supporting the team in the execution of the audit plan with the aim of providing assurance on the company's key risks and control environment
Stakeholder engagement with senior management throughout the audit process; supporting the firm's operations and driving business value
Contributing to the critical assessment of the company's environment and risk profile to support the annual audit planning process

Skills & Experience:
Good understanding and experience within the offshore life industry, together with an analytical approach and strong process and controls experience
Applicants will ideally either have an Internal Audit or Risk Management background, or previous experience within Audit for a Big 4 Accountancy Practice
A professional qualification such as ACA/ ACCA/ IMC/ CFA or another internal audit, risk management or security certification would be advantageous, but not essential
Strong communication skills, used to working with senior stakeholders and building strong working relationships

Hours & Benefits:
Full time, market rate salary dependent upon experience and qualifications and plus benefits
