IT Technician, Permanent Job, Isle Of Man

Job Purpose:
IT Support Technician required by a global business in a permanent capacity on the Isle of Man. The role is to primarily provide all areas of IT support to staff in the Isle of Man office.

Key Responsibilities:
Proactively monitor and resolve support issues identified with company information systems
Assist to develop and deploy new information systems and services
Evaluate and recommend IT solutions
Complete proactive maintenance and operational tasks associated with company information systems
Produce and maintain systems and user documentation as required

Skills & Experience:
Significant experience in a similar IT Support role within financial services
Strong problem solving skills
Excellent communication skills
Experience with current versions of Microsoft desktop applications
Relevant knowledge and experience of any of following areas would be advantageous: computer networking principles, computer security, content scanning and firewall principles, Citrix presentation and access products, virtualisation
