Legal Secretary, Permanent Job, Isle of Man

A highly reputable law firm are seeking a Legal Secretary to work in the Dispute Resolution department of its Douglas-based office. You’ll be providing competent secretarial services to the firm’s partners and fee earners.

The Role…

Your secretarial duties will include:

  • Screening telephone calls, greeting clients and responding to general queries
  • Collecting internal and external mail throughout the day, passing correspondence to the relevant staff members
  • All typing, including digital dictation and copy typing, of various correspondence, as well as they typing and amending of court documents
  • Maintaining the diaries of the firm’s partners and fee earners, coordinating itineraries for meetings on and off Island, researching trip information as necessary
  • Preparing bills and invoices, opening new client files, and filing any emails and documents on the system
