A leading international shipping firm are currently seeking a Purchasing Officer, you will be responsible for assisting the Purchasing Manager with the purchasing of goods and services required for a portfolio of managed vessels.

The Role...

End to End Purchasing responsibility for an assigned number of managed vessels
Coordinating the timely and compliant purchase and delivery of goods, provisions, and services in accordance with the department manual
Coordinating preparation and submission of quotations as required by Clients, Technical Superintendents and/or vessels
Logistics planning of consolidated deliveries to locations ensuring availability of items on board within the logistics budget
Contribute to maintaining the purchasing department manual

About you...

Purchasing experience is desirable
Proficient with Microsoft Office
Shipping knowledge would be beneficial
