Senior Service Manager, Permanent Job, Isle Of Man

Job Purpose:
Senior Service Manager required to join a Telecommunications organisation. Based on the Isle of Man the main function of the role is to lead the enterprise service management function, managing the team across the Channel islands and the Isle of Man

Key Responsibilities:
Working with the Sales Director lead the enterprise Service Management Function
Review and improve existing Service Management capabilities and approach
Ensure there is a common approach on processes, templates, file structure and customer communication schedules across multi jurisdictions
Ensure all staff have access to all the same systems, with a common set of permissions
Build development plans for all team members
Responsible for all recruitment within this function
Manage the team's performance through monthly 121s and the appraisal process

Skills & Experience:
A minimum of 2 years' experience in a managerial role in a competitive service environment
Extensive experience in technical service management
Knowledgeable of trends in the telecommunications and technology industries
Experience working with large, multi-jurisdictional enterprise customers
Excellent project management and planning skills, ability to deliver within tight time frames
Ability to manage people effectively to promote an engaged, motivated and content team
