Lead and mentor the Financial Crime team while ensuring smooth workflows
- Day-to-day resource management and prioritisation of workflows
- Develop relationships with key internal teams
- Provide guidance and training to team members
- Support personal objectives and manage team performance issues
- Assist with recruitment processes
- Attend management and risk meetings, prepare reports
- Conduct in-depth investigations and report on fraud patterns
- Manage investigations into fraud complaints and identity issues
- Draft formal replies to third-party dispute resolution bodies
- Maintain proper documentation and record keeping
- Undertake other relevant duties as required
About You
Skilled leader with experience in financial crime and fraud management
- Minimum 5 GCSEs including Maths and English at grade C or above
- Recognised Fraud or Risk management qualification advantageous
- Strong analytical and organisational skills
- Experience in financial crime, fraud, risk, or regulation roles
- Experience leading a small team
- Knowledge of fraud and investigation policies and practices
- Innovative and strategic thinker with excellent communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
- Minimum 2 years relevant experience in a Financial Crime role
- Fluent in English with proactive and methodical approach
- Ability to prioritise and multi-task effectively
- Strong attention to detail and high integrity
