The Role

Join the team and take on diverse and impactful accounting responsibilities

• Prepare financial statements for a diverse portfolio of Trusts and Companies
• Handle ad hoc reporting and ensure tax compliance when necessary
• Manage client expectations and accounting deadlines with precision
• Take ownership of your workload, prioritise tasks, and communicate effectively with line managers and third parties
• Utilise your understanding of banking and accounting systems, adapting seamlessly to new technologies
• Achieve personal targets, including time recording and utilisation, while ensuring business risk targets are met
• Leverage your technical skills to understand and manage risk, with support from your line manager

About You

Our client is looking for a detail-oriented and skilled professional to join their team

• Prior experience in preparing Trust and Company financial statements (desirable)
• Working knowledge of relevant statutory requirements and UK GAAP
• Ability to exercise judgment and initiative in solving day-to-day challenges
• Flexibility and professionalism under time-driven pressures
• Strong prioritisation and time management skills
• Excellent command of the English language with strong written and verbal communication skills
• Relevant professional qualification (e.g., ACCA or CA), or working towards one
• Equivalent qualifications and work experience will also be considered
