Telecoms Network Engineer (Mobile Network), Contract Job, Isle of Man

Are you passionate about network technology and looking for an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment? An Island leading telecommunications company is seeking a motivated Network Engineer to join their dynamic team for a 24 month fixed term contract, and contribute to the design, maintenance, and growth of cutting-edge mobile and fibre networks.

The Role

As an IoM Network Engineer, you'll play a key role in supporting the design and deployment of mobile and fibre networks while ensuring operational excellence

• Support the design, operations, and maintenance of mobile and fibre access networks


• Install and commission Radio Access network equipment


• Climb masts and towers to perform maintenance tasks


• Handle routine maintenance and troubleshoot customer faults


• Assist with civil engineering works and Fibre to the Premise installations


• Support hardware and software upgrades for access and mobile network equipment


• Manage projects for feasibility, commissioning, and integration of new services

About You

We're looking for a proactive team player with a strong interest in technology and a passion for learning

• Climbing certification or willingness to work towards it


• Knowledge of or willingness to learn about access and mobile network technologies


• Self-motivated and able to work in a cross-functional team


• Competency with computer-based systems and eagerness to learn new technologies


• Strong communication skills and attention to detail


• Previous experience in Access Network or Mobile Network roles is a plus
