Compliance Advisor, Permanent Job, Isle of Man

Are you an experienced compliance professional looking to take the next step in your career? Our client is seeking a dedicated Compliance Advisor to join their team and play a key role in supporting the regulatory and compliance functions.

The Role

In this exciting role, you will provide compliance support and fulfil key regulatory duties

• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, acting as MLRO and DMLRO for various entities


• Support the implementation of compliance policies, including monitoring and maintaining relevant registers


• Analyse new legislation and engage with the business to ensure effective regulatory changes


• Oversee internal disclosures, ensuring timely and accurate reporting to the relevant authorities


• Provide advice and consultancy on regulatory matters to support business operations


• Manage regulatory visits, deliver compliance training, and promote risk awareness within the business


• Oversee complaints management, including FOS complaints and preparing reports for the Conduct Committee

About You

You will be a proactive compliance professional with a deep understanding of regulatory frameworks and an eye for detail.

• Hold a relevant professional qualification or demonstrate relevant industry experience (Compliance/Risk/Internal Audit/Legal)


• Experience in a compliance role


• Strong working knowledge of FSA Rules, AML rules, and related guidelines


• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to advise in a one-on-one capacity


• Systematic approach to work with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines
