The Role
As a Legal Secretary, you will handle a range of essential duties to ensure smooth operations in a legal setting.
- Arrange client appointments and maintain Court and fee earner diaries
- Record and file time notes in a time recording software, including private invoicing and meticulous Legal Aid billing
- Provide filing support for three fee earners and handle audiotyping of letters and legal documents
- Coordinate postal duties, client communications, and local deliveries
- Assist with client KYC, conveyancing searches, quotes, and admin duties
- Prepare and manage Court bundles, archive files, and maintain outgoing post records
- Conduct Green Form billing and weekly database searches for Wills enquiries
- Complete AML training provided via an online Law Society course
- Contribute to the general admin, including database searches and team tasks

- Strong administrative skills and previous experience in legal services
- Excellent attention to detail
