Description

Are you an accomplished compliance professional ready to lead with integrity? An internationally renowned independent offshore law firm is seeking an experienced Head of Risk & Compliance to uphold their reputation in the legal and regulatory landscape while providing crucial oversight as MLRO.

The Role

Lead the charge in risk management and compliance while driving policy development, audits, and team leadership across all levels


  • Identify, assess, and implement strategies to mitigate organisational risks

  • Oversee day-to-day compliance activities, ensuring alignment with operational policies

  • Develop and maintain risk and compliance policies, delivering training across the Group

  • Coordinate and address findings from internal and external audits

  • Prepare and present reports on compliance matters to the Board and regulatory bodies

  • Supervise and mentor the risk and compliance team, fostering high performance

  • Act as MLRO, managing SARs and liaising with regulatory authorities on AML/CFT



About You

With strong leadership and a keen eye for detail, you will bring extensive experience in compliance within financial services


  • Strong previous experience in a compliance role with experience in professional services

  • Qualified in governance, risk, and compliance (ICA Diploma or similar)

  • Thorough understanding of FSA Guidelines, AML regulations, and financial crime frameworks

  • Excellent analytical skills with a solution-driven mindset

  • Proven leadership ability with a collaborative and motivational style

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

  • Professional, ethical, and proactive approach to risk and compliance
