Contract Accountant, Temporary Role, Isle of Man

Are you an experienced finance professional looking for your next challenge? A regional Telecommunications company is seeking a talented and motivated Contract Accountant to join their dynamic team on a 6-month basis.

The Role

In this exciting position, you'll support finance and accounting activities for an acquired company, ensuring smooth integration and alignment with group policies

• Handle day-to-day accounting and integration activities


• Perform valuations and transfer of accounting balances


• Align financial assets and ledgers with group reporting policies


• Support post-completion accounts, including asset valuation and debtor strategy


• Collaborate with external consultants such as auditors and tax advisors


• Assist with tax compliance and other finance-related projects

About You

You'll bring expertise, initiative, and precision to this role, contributing to both operational excellence and strategic finance objectives

• Professionally qualified accountant or currently pursuing a qualification with hands-on accounting or audit experience


• Strong proficiency in IT systems, Excel, and accounting packages


• Proven project and time management skills with a proactive, self-motivated approach


• Ability to analyse financial information and present findings clearly to non-financial stakeholders


• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal


• Experience in telecoms, technology, or acquisition accounting is a bonus
