Are you an experienced finance professional looking for a dynamic role where you can drive strategic financial decision-making? Our client is seeking a skilled Finance Business Partner to provide expert financial guidance and support across government departments for a period of 6 months.

The Role

As a Finance Business Partner, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality financial advice and insights

• Provide expert financial management, reporting, and business planning support


• Analyse financial performance and offer strategic guidance to senior leadership


• Support the development and implementation of financial strategies and policies


• Ensure effective financial monitoring of projects and programmes, including capital expenditure


• Advise on business cases, option appraisals, and financial targets to maximise value for money


• Challenge procurement decisions and expenditure to ensure cost-effective outcomes


• Promote strong financial governance and compliance across all operations

About You

You are a proactive and commercially minded finance professional with a strategic approach to financial management

• Qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA) or working towards qualification


• Experience in financial planning, budgeting, and management reporting


• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data


• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills


• Experience advising senior leadership and influencing financial decision-making


• Knowledge of financial governance, risk management, and procurement processes


• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
