Are you an experienced compliance professional looking for an exciting new challenge? An International Wealth Solutions company is seeking a motivated Compliance Manager and Deputy Money Laundering Reporting Officer (DMLRO) to join their regulated bank and trust company in the Isle of Man

The Role

This is a fantastic opportunity to provide expert regulatory guidance and play a key role in ensuring compliance across the organisation


  • Advise the business on regulatory and internal policy obligations, ensuring full compliance with Isle of Man regulations

  • Support and deputise for the MLRO, investigating suspicious activity and liaising with external authorities as required

  • Conduct compliance monitoring exercises in line with the Compliance Monitoring Plan

  • Track and manage operational risk incidents and breaches, ensuring issues are escalated and resolved appropriately

  • Develop and deliver training programmes on regulatory matters to employees

  • Review and maintain compliance policies and procedures, ensuring alignment with local and international best practices

  • Provide guidance on data protection matters, ensuring compliance with Isle of Man data protection requirements

  • Support the Head of Risk & Compliance in enhancing the Enterprise Risk Management framework



About You

You are a compliance expert with a strong understanding of regulatory frameworks and a proactive approach to risk management


  • Professional qualification equivalent to the ICA Diploma in AML or Governance, Risk, and Compliance, or willingness to obtain one

  • Strong working knowledge of Isle of Man regulatory requirements and risk management

  • Experience in investigating suspicious activity and compliance monitoring

  • Proven track record as a Deputy Money Laundering Reporting Officer

  • Excellent analytical and investigative skills to drive positive compliance outcomes

  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently

  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal

  • High ethical standards and integrity
