Onboarding Specialist, Temporary Role, Isle of Man

Are you passionate about delivering a seamless client onboarding experience? An international Bank is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Senior Officer to join their onboarding team, ensuring new accounts are processed efficiently and in line with regulatory requirements for a contract period of 3 months.

The Role

Play a vital role in reviewing and processing new personal account applications, ensuring compliance and delivering excellent service

• Review and process personal account applications within agreed timeframes


• Ensure new business applications meet compliance and regulatory requirements


• Conduct due diligence, including verifying the source of funds and performing risk assessments


• Undertake client background checks using Accuity/Finscan and other tools


• Train and support new team members in onboarding processes


• Manage and maintain accurate records, tracking account openings and ensuring all documentation is complete


• Collaborate with Compliance and escalate potential risks when necessary


• Contribute to process improvement projects and support system implementation initiatives

About You

You are a detail-oriented and organised professional with experience in client onboarding and compliance within financial services

• Some experience in corporate onboarding, client risk management, or financial services


• Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and AML/KYC processes


• Ability to review, assess, and challenge new account applications


• Proficiency in conducting background checks and risk assessments


• Excellent organisational and time management skills


• Strong communication skills with the ability to liaise effectively with internal and external stakeholders


• Experience working with compliance monitoring and account verification systems
