- Act as the Designated Compliance Officer and Money Laundering Reporting Officer
- Advise the board, executive committee, and risk committee on regulatory matters and best practices
- Lead and develop the compliance team, ensuring effective cross-training and development
- Manage regulatory risk exposures and ensure robust compliance monitoring systems are in place
- Oversee business acceptance procedures, including KYC and customer due diligence analysis
- Maintain and update local compliance policies and procedures in line with group standards
- Ensure compliance monitoring programmes are fit for purpose and executed on schedule
- Act as the principal contact for the local regulatory body and maintain strong stakeholder relationships
- Design and deliver compliance-related training across the business
About You
You are an experienced leader with a deep understanding of financial services compliance and a passion for maintaining high regulatory standards
- A wealth of experience within the trust and funds industry
- Strong experience in a similar compliance role
- Educated to Diploma level in a relevant discipline
- Proven leadership and people management experience
- Strong organisational, communication, and negotiation skills
- Expert knowledge of compliance, risk management, and data protection legislation
- Ability to produce management reports and meet project deadlines
- A strategic thinker with a proactive and ethical approach
