A leading global provider of services within the funds and trust industry is seeking a dedicated Head of Compliance to lead their compliance function in the Isle of Man, ensuring the highest regulatory standards and driving a culture of excellence

The Role

This is an exciting opportunity to oversee all aspects of compliance, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements while providing strategic guidance across the organisation


  • Act as the Designated Compliance Officer and Money Laundering Reporting Officer

  • Advise the board, executive committee, and risk committee on regulatory matters and best practices

  • Lead and develop the compliance team, ensuring effective cross-training and development

  • Manage regulatory risk exposures and ensure robust compliance monitoring systems are in place

  • Oversee business acceptance procedures, including KYC and customer due diligence analysis

  • Maintain and update local compliance policies and procedures in line with group standards

  • Ensure compliance monitoring programmes are fit for purpose and executed on schedule

  • Act as the principal contact for the local regulatory body and maintain strong stakeholder relationships

  • Design and deliver compliance-related training across the business



About You

You are an experienced leader with a deep understanding of financial services compliance and a passion for maintaining high regulatory standards


  • A wealth of experience within the trust and funds industry

  • Strong experience in a similar compliance role

  • Educated to Diploma level in a relevant discipline

  • Proven leadership and people management experience

  • Strong organisational, communication, and negotiation skills

  • Expert knowledge of compliance, risk management, and data protection legislation

  • Ability to produce management reports and meet project deadlines

  • A strategic thinker with a proactive and ethical approach
