Join a leading global shipping company and fiduciary company, as Head of Compliance and play a pivotal role in ensuring regulatory excellence across their dynamic Isle of Man operations

The Role

Lead the compliance function and drive adherence to regulatory and AML standards


  • Oversee the compliance team and maintain compliance and AML registers

  • Act as the primary contact for regulatory bodies, including the FSA and FIU

  • Maintain and update compliance and AML policies, procedures, and governance frameworks

  • Provide compliance and AML guidance to client companies and internal stakeholders

  • Manage SARs and ML enquiries while serving as the company's MLRO

  • Deliver ongoing AML, GDPR, and governance training

  • Undertake remediation and ad-hoc compliance projects

  • Prepare regulatory and statistical reports for relevant bodies



About You

We are looking for an experienced compliance professional with a strong understanding of regulatory frameworks


  • Proven experience in a compliance role, ideally in the TCSP sector

  • Qualified to ICA diploma level or similar relevant certification

  • In-depth knowledge of IOM AML Code, GDPR, and corporate governance

  • Experience with high-net-worth individuals and complex multi-jurisdictional structures

  • Strong understanding of the financial services rulebook and AEOI classifications

  • Ability to lead a small team and liaise effectively with stakeholders at all levels

  • A passion for compliance with the ability to promote an ethical corporate culture
