Are you an experienced and strategic leader with a passion for people, culture, and driving high performance in an inclusive and diverse environment? This is a fantastic opportunity to lead the People & Culture Division for a dynamic and forward thinking organisation.

The Role

As Head of People & Culture, you will be pivotal in shaping the Authority culture and human resources strategy while driving performance and organisational success.


  • Lead the HR strategy for the Authority in alignment with the 2024-2027 Strategy

  • Oversee human resources functions such as recruitment, performance management, training, and policy development

  • Enhance and foster a high-performance, inclusive, and diverse work environment

  • Contribute to the development of the authority Staff Handbook and HR protocols

  • Manage and improve employee engagement and well-being initiatives

  • Provide strategic oversight of the Authoritys finance and facilities management functions

  • Report on budget and expenditure, ensuring compliance with financial regulations

  • Oversee health and safety practices across the organisation

  • Extensive experience in strategic leadership and HR management

  • Proven track record in fostering a high-performance culture and developing people

  • Strong analytical and decision-making skills

  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills

  • Experience in financial management, including budget forecasting and reporting

  • Ability to lead through change and support cross-divisional collaboration

  • Commitment to continued professional development and growth
