- Maintain and update risk registers, ensuring appropriate mitigants and action plans are in place
- Organise and manage Control Committee meetings, including preparing agendas, taking minutes, and tracking progress
- Provide expert advice on risk identification, monitoring, and mitigation strategies
- Review and enhance operational procedures to ensure robust risk management practices
- Conduct periodic CDD reviews, including risk assessments, transaction monitoring, and PEP screening
- Work on risk-related training initiatives and assist with delivering appropriate training sessions
- Undertake project work and research to support evolving risk and compliance requirements
- Stay updated on regulatory changes and contribute to maintaining a strong risk framework
About You
You are an analytical thinker with a keen eye for detail and a strong understanding of compliance and risk management
- Experience in risk, compliance, or AML/CFT, ideally within investment management or financial services
- Strong knowledge of Isle of Man AML/CFT regulations and risk management processes
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise effectively with stakeholders
- Proficient in relevant computer applications and interested in financial technology developments
- A relevant professional qualification in risk, compliance, or finance is desirable, or a willingness to work towards one
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, ensuring high standards of accuracy and efficiency
