- Identify and manage regulatory compliance risks across the business
- Develop and implement proportionate and commercially attuned compliance strategies, policies, and procedures
- Engage with senior stakeholders, including the Executive and Boards, to provide compliance oversight and guidance
- Lead compliance monitoring and assurance reviews, ensuring ongoing regulatory adherence
- Support regulatory change initiatives and oversee implementation across the business
- Represent the organisation at industry trade bodies and government forums
- Mentor and develop compliance professionals to strengthen succession planning and team resilience
About You
You are a compliance expert with a strong understanding of the financial services sector and a passion for driving regulatory excellence
- Extensive knowledge of financial services regulations, legislation, and compliance frameworks
- Strong commercial awareness with experience in the life and investment sector
- Proven track record in compliance monitoring, assurance, and regulatory change implementation
- Experience in a multi-jurisdictional environment
- Strong leadership skills with a commitment to mentoring and developing teams
- Ability to engage effectively with senior stakeholders and influence at board level
- Experience in mergers and acquisitions is desirable
