The Role
Take charge of financial management for a range of licensed and unlicensed entities
- Maintain financial ledgers from client-provided documents
- Compile statutory financial statements for various entity types across jurisdictions
- Manage audit processes and liaise with auditors
- Prepare cash flow projections and conduct solvency checks
- Present management accounts at quarterly board meetings
- Prepare and submit gambling duty returns, regulatory submissions, and assist with VAT returns
- Analyse accounting issues and develop effective working methods
- Raise and resolve queries with clients and client relationship managers
- Attend client meetings to advise on accounting matters
- Support your accounting team colleagues
About You
Bring your expertise and passion for accountancy to make a real impact
- Chartered or Certified Accountant with relevant experience
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
- Experience in preparing client accounts, preferably ACA/ACCA Qualified
- Computer literate with experience in accounting packages (NavOne, Xero, CCH) an advantage
- Confident in preparing financial statements under FRS102
- Able to resolve complex accounting queries and design effective accounting systems
- Experience in a busy accounting environment with excellent organisational skills
- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Capable of managing workloads independently and meeting deadlines
- Flexible and adaptable to workflow changes with a focus on improving processes
