- Conduct fitness and propriety assessments for applicants and Controlled Function holders
- Process licence applications and prepare recommendation papers
- Engage with applicants and regulated entities to ensure accurate decision-making
- Assist in developing policy and guidance across regulated activities
- Maintain procedural frameworks and collaborate with other Supervisory Divisions
- Act as Risk Champion, overseeing internal risk libraries, business impact assessments, and continuity plans
- Draft and approve regulatory responses in line with legislation and data protection policies
- Ensure internal systems and procedures are followed effectively
About You
An analytical and organised professional with a background in financial services, compliance, or risk management.
- Experience in financial services, compliance, regulatory, risk, or audit roles
- Strong knowledge of financial regulations, legislation, and industry trends
- Excellent analytical skills to assess risk and summarise information effectively
- Ability to manage workload pressures, meet deadlines, and prioritise tasks
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
- Experience in stakeholder engagement, including senior professionals
- Understanding of risk frameworks and evaluation is desirable
- A relevant professional qualification or evidence of continuing professional development is beneficial
